The most common type of home inspection is the General Home Inspection, also refered to as a Standard or just Home Inspection.  This inspection should include electrical wiring, plumbing, roofing, insulation, and structural features. The inspection report generated will provide suggestions for improvements or repairs that need to be done to bring the property up to code or to correct a material defect.
Our home inspection is designed to reflect, as accurately as possible, the visible condition of your home at the time of the inspection.  Conditions of a home for sale can change radically in just a few days, so our home inspection is not meant to guarantee the condition of the home on the date of the sale.  It’s not uncommon for conditions to change between the time of the inspection and the closing date.

We are not experts in every home system, but are trained to recognize evidence of potential problems in your home's various systems and their major components. We know when a problem is serious enough and relay on our pertners, who are specialist in the industry.

TERMITE
A termite inspection is a visual inspection of the readily accessible areas of a home for evidence of wood-destroying insects. Generally, the first sign of infestation is the presence of swarming termites on the window or near indoor light. If they are found inside the house, it almost always means that they have infested.  Hire a qualified inspector to inspect for termites or other wood-destroying organisms.

RADON
Radon is a radioactive gas that has been found in homes all over the United States. It comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in soil, rock, and water and gets into the air you breathe. Radon typically moves up through the ground to the air above and into your home through cracks and other holes in the foundation.  The EPA recommends that you hire a qualified professional to test for radon when you are buying or selling a home.

HVAC
The heating ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems are a critical part of any home inspection.  A typical home inspection would just include the HVAC operation and visual condition and age of the system.  A Certified HVAC inspector will go through a thorough review and testing of the home's heating and cooling equipment, as well as any whole-home indoor air quality systems.

SEPTIC
on-lot waste-water treatment system inspections using the Real Estate Septic Inspections/NOF standards. These standards have been described as the “industry standard” for septic system inspections. The standards embody a protocol which, when fully applied, evaluates every component of an on-lot waste-water treatment system. The components include treatment tanks, distribution systems, siphons, and pumps and absorption area.
